Harry Bleiberg Consultant Oncology

Harry Bleiberg is a medical oncologist. He was Head of the Gastroenterology Unit, Co-Director of the Chemotherapy Unit and Director of the GI Cancer Clinical Research Program at the Institute Jules Bordet, Belgium. He is still member of the Ethical Committee of that institution and editor of the electronic cancer journal e-JCancerBordet. He filled various positions within the Gastrointestinal Tract Cancer Cooperative Group of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer since its foundation in 1972 and act as Chairman from 1988 to 1995. He was President of the Belgian Society for Medical Oncology from 2001 to 2005. Harry Bleiberg now acts as a Medical Consultant for various companies developing drugs and diagnostic devices.
